WE DONE IT!

As of this coming Sunday night, do you realize that we will have all finished the hardest months of residency!!?? No more Stinky Joes or Crappy County! No more Q4!! No more 30 hour calls! No more sleeping in elevator shafts! No more GETTING the shaft on away rotations with all the losers in all the other programs! No more call room toilets that overflow into all the call rooms because a certain Mamy Aminovich dropped a certain pager down the toilet while rotating there last August! No more $40 budgets for meals for a whole month in a crappy cafeteria! No more jerk seniors...we ARE the seniors now! No more parking and walking a mile just to get to work! No more med student badges! No more being lost in a sea of white coats! No more calling the cardiology intern who happens to be an IM intern and knows nothing and has to call her cardio senior who will then call the actual cardio attending and get back to you 4 days later with an answer!!! No more jerk OB 2nd years who have god-complexes and think they're our attendings (you know who I'm talking about!)! No more being the outsider! No more Emtek or ChartMax! No more no more no more! (OK- I know that 2 of you still have GYN, but that's seriously one of the easiest rotations of the year- you get lots of days off, there's no call...and you basically don't work for a month and are only in the clinic...so seriously...we are all technically done in those stupid hospitals!!!).

SO FREAKIN HAPPY!!! We're all coming home for good!! We should go out and celebrate this milestone! Peter Piper anyone?!

P.S. Anyone else hating this whole 1 room each thing in clinic?! Ridiculous! And it'll be worse in two weeks when they start on the other bigger hallway and we're all back at Baptist. Betty will probably have Jeremy and Brent sharing a room, and I'll be seeing people out on the corner of 21st and Bethany Home. I'm working on making this sign to hang out front next to the clinic:

That might at least get rid of a few crazies and workins.
